Feb 10th - we decided to go to Goa during Ugadi week end. It was just 5 of us, few friends from Noesis and their friends.
March 5th - I had to cancel the tickets as there were some personal work for some of them and some had to complete their project delivery
March 10th - 9 of my friends decide to go to Ooty on 14-15 and 16 of March. We had booked our tempo traveller for all 10 of us. The team had me (Arun), Keerthi, Srini, Abi, Amitesh, Chengal, Manoj, Nandu, Sunil and Avinash. Nandu was made the chief accountant.
March 13th (Evening 8 PM) - We thought of buying 8PM for our trip but finally decided to take up Royal Challengers, giving tributes the IPL team which most of us were supporting apart from Chennai super kings which is my favorite. We had couple of beer as well.
March 13th (11 PM) - All 10 of us were there in my room. We were supposed to start our journey at 3 AM on March 14th.
March 14th (3 AM) - We all started in the tempo traveller from my house. Our plan was to go to Bandipur -> Pykaara -> Ooty -> Conoor and come back on 16th afternoon.
March 14th (8:00 AM) - Nature call :).. We decided to stop as few of them were feeling uneasy...
We were just 20 min away from Bandipur. We reached Bandipur at around 8
:45 and took our tickets 
for the safari (so called...)The photos will speak more than words...
Yeah ... they were just few monkeys, deer and elephant that we could see...
Then we started our journey to Ooty. Throughout we saw lots of elephants, mostly the tamed ones. Things were all going on well until we reached Gudalur. We decided to have our breakfast at the checkpost. The inspector was checking our papers and they found that the permit/ some damn stuff was getting expired in 2 days and hence we will not be allowed to go into Tamilnadu. We did not have any other option but to go back to our home or take another vehicle from there to Ooty or identify another tourist spot in Karnataka.
March 14 (12:15 PM)
: We started going towards Coorg. It was long journey with dry forest all around. The journey was very boring and most of were tired because of the long journey.March 14 (4:45 PM): We reached irpu falls. It was a big relief for all of us. Had to do a small trekking before we r
eached the waterfalls. The best thing that happened to us on that day was irpu water falls. We had good fun, all of us were on our underwears and enjoyed our bath for atleast 40 min...
We then started our journey to Madikere in Coorg. As soon as we reached the town we saw few guys coming to us with quotations for home stay and hotel rooms. We finally decided to go for a home stay. This wa
s the next best thing that we did on that dayMarch 14 (8:45 PM): We were all at the home in Coorg. A beautiful 5 BHK house with excellent facilities. The package came with a cook who was big stomach like panda. He bought us some good food and we had a heavy dinner with booze and decided to retire for the day.
March 15: We watched a traditional dance at a temple near our place. More than dance, it's about a god man blessing the citizens who come to him. I think they call it devil dance. We then went to Dubbare forest (ideal place to go in early jan, you will enjoy white water rafting). We did rafting and tried soem swimming in the place. We then went to Nisarga Dhama and then to tibetian golden temple.
Superb places!!!
Overall a good trip. Had good fun throughout.. :)
